Michele Riml (Play Writing)

Michele is the author of  Miss Teen, Under The Influence, Sexy Laundry, RAGE, Poster Boys and Souvenirs. Her plays for young audiences include,  The Invisible Girl, The Skinny Lie and Tree Boy.

Michele’s work has been produced extensively across Canada and into the US. RAGE, winner of the 2005 Sydney Risk prize for Outstanding Original Play was most recently translated into French and Sexy Laundry has been translated into German, Spanish and Polish and sold out in New Zealand this past summer.  She is currently working on Into the Wild a sequel to Sexy Laundry and two new plays: Cracked with The Belfry Victoria and The Amaryllis with The Factory Theatre in Toronto.
