RC Weslowski (Spoken Word)
RC Weslowski is a clown mouth full of x-ray visions getting at the heart of things. He was recently named Poet of Honour at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word, Canada’s National Poetry Slam Event, held in Calgary, Alberta in 2008. In 2007 RC finished 2nd in the world at the World Cup of Poetry in Bobigny, France. In 2006 RC was a member of the Canadian National Poetry Slam Team Champions from Vancouver. RC is also the member of the multi media clown rock group, Awesome Face and the prog opera country tinged alt word duo, Sweater Vest. He has toured the UK and portions of Europe including Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and France.
